In 1923, Dr. Vicente Alvarez-Villamil bought the farm "Bernabeleva" in San Martin de Valdeiglesias, Madrid.


For decades, his heirs have looked fondly the old vines that he planted, hoping that someday they would make honest wines with great quality.


The vinification is made in wood vats of several sizes. Every single wine macerates for more than 30 days. After that, the wine is moved to French oak barrels of different volumes, where they stay until is required.
