Following the tradition of the monks of Teatinos, a group of local winegrowers created in 1958 the Cooperative Winery “Purísima Concepción”. It is located in the area of the Ribera del Júcar. The clay of these soils are more fertile and have high water holding capacity resulting in modern and fruity, soft wines.

Opened in the 50’s the building develop a modern winery equipped with the latest modern technology and a barrel cellar.In the last decade the winery has undergone a major upgrade with an investment of more than 5 million euros. It counts with an average annual production of 15 million kilos of grapes from more than 2500 ha of vineyards, primarily from Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bobal, Syrah, Macabeo, Airen, and Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains.
