Product Description
Shaya Habis is a special selection of very old Verdejo vines
that is also barrel-fermented and aged on its lees in large oak
barrels of 500 and 600 litres for 7 months. It’s limited production
is caused by the shortage of Verdejo clusters proceeding
from very old vines planted in small sandy located areas.
Showing very complex and subtle aromas, mineral character
with mature fruit and pineapple blended with elegant toasted
and spicy notes. Very ample fruit notes, lavourful and serious
without losing freshness, very long inish with pleasant sensation
of bitterness and smoky notes.
Shaya Habis is a special selection of very old and low yielding
vines of Verdejo trained in the vaso system and planted in very
sandy soils which make possible the fact that many of the vines
are ungrafted and very old. The wine is barrel fermented and
aged on its lees in large new French oak barrels of 500-600
litres for 8 months.
