Coca i Fitó

Named after the surname of the winemakers, this is a Pago wine (Cru). The vineyard is composed of a calcareous organic soil. For some reason this vineyard provides loral and mineral notes that other surrounding vineyards are unable to bring to their wines. It is a unique wine that can only be developed in this terroir. It is a feminine, ethereal wine, yet with vigor, rich, loral, mineral, delicate and sensual. Its main feature is the change in aroma and taste that it ofers while oxygenating. Once we have the wine in the glass, it changes every 5-10 minutes on the nose and palate and this continues for a couple of hours. It’s as if you were tasting diferent wines from the same bottle. It feels like gazing the changes in the landscape while travelling by train. A wine to enjoy. The most important thing is the vineyard where the perfect maturation of the grape is achieved. The amount of grapes per vine (about 800 gr) is also meticulously controlled. The production of this wine is traditional. Grenache and Carignan grapes of 70 years age are used in this wine to bring that magic point.
