Briego is a ine representative of Ribera del Duero wine which, being young and excellently made, ills the glass with raspberries, cherries and strawberries as well as delivering hints of cinnamon, vanilla and spices. Produced in the vineyard The Bercial at 750m altitude. Sandstone with siliceous stone, medium body soil. It produces soft, ine and elegant wines. Just one sip of Briego is enough to feel an explosion of fruit in the mouth and to appreciate the elegance of the Tempranillo grape, so characteristic of the Ribera del Duero. Bodegas Briego have taken it upon themselves to stand up for the genuine nature of their regional wines whilst always ready to adopt modern ideas. The wine spends 5 to 7 months in American and French oak barrels.

Intense deep red colour. Purple and lilacs tone in the rim.

Mixed bouquet of fruit and loral aromas perfectly balanced with delicate and elegant wood and menthol combined with red and black fruits such as blackberry, raspberry and cherry.

D.O. Ribera del Duero

Medium to full body. On the palate heavily oaked, showing dark cherry. Balanced, smooth finish.

6 months in American oak barrels

Chicken, leg of lamb, pork loin, bolder meat dishes or an aged Spanish cheese like Manchego or Idiazabal.
