Product Description
A great, modern-style Reserva which upholds the traditional
qualities found in wines of this region, as do the rest of
Briego’s wines. Wine from the vineyard “La Nava” in Fompedraza
at 900 metres. Strong, structured soil. Because of
this altitude, maturation is slow with a high contrast between
day and night temperatures. It produces robust and structured
wine with ripe tannins, ideal for ageing.
A rich, elegant wine, with an abundance of lavours in perfect
coordination and in excellent harmony with the wood. Persistent
and smooth, but maintaining a certain level of tannin
and inishing with the acidity that is a distinctive feature of
the Ribera del Duero wines.
It is a 4-year-old wine that has spent 9 months in French oak
and another 9 months in American oak, before ageing for 32
months in bottle.
