Product Description
Terras Gauda’s Abadía de San Campio is a great example of the mythical Albariño wines. It is the younger “brother” of Terras Gauda, the wine which made the winery famous in many countries.
They come from the plots at Goian (Argallo) at an altitude between 150-450 feet, which are some of the highest vineyards with lower humidity, cooler temperatures and slower ripening of the fruit. These conditions provide a wine of great aromatic intensity . With a good breadth and balance of flavors, the wine is bright and fresh, with a certain tartness reinforcing the sensation of freshness. The good balance between the acids and sugar give the wine a pleasant final touch, persisting in the mouth for a long time.
VINIFICATION. After 6 hours of cold maceration, traditional fermentation took place at low controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. After adding natural yeasts from the vineyards, the wine was cold stabilized, filtered and finally bottled.

D.O.Rias Baixas Outstanding example of Albariño. The taste is full of ripe fruit like peach and citrus with some minerality, but a good balance between acidity and sugar and fruit density keep it fresh and crisp. Broad and citrus afternose with a long end.

The area of Galicia is known as a seafood heaven so it makes sense that its wines are made to pair with seafood of all kinds. You can enjoy this wine chilled on a hot summer day, or drink it with shellfish such as oysters, clam and crab. It also would go well with spicy Asian cuisine.
